Privacy
What we collect, why, and how to delete it.
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to respond to your enquiry, we don’t sell or share it, we delete it 90 days after the conversation ends, and you can email hello@glatterdigital.com to have it deleted sooner.
Who we are
Glatter Digital Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17228528). Registered office: Flat 14, Conservatory Court, 83 Chevening Road, London, SE19 3TD.
For any privacy question, write to hello@glatterdigital.com. We’re the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name (optional)
- The project type you selected
- The description and timeline you wrote
When you visit the website
Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregated page-view metrics. No cookies are set, no personal identifiers are stored. There’s nothing for you to consent to because nothing is being tracked at the individual level.
That’s the lot. No marketing tracking, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, no session recording.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and explore whether we should work together.
Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — replying to people who have voluntarily reached out. Where a conversation leads to a contract, steps to enter a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) applies to any data needed to draft and sign that contract.
Who else sees it
To run the contact form and website we use the following processors:
- Web3Forms
- Receives the form submission and forwards it to our inbox. They store submissions on their servers as part of their service. Their privacy policy.
- Google Workspace
- Hosts the inbox where we read enquiries and reply. Their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts this website, delivers it via their CDN, and provides anonymised visitor analytics. Their privacy policy.
These companies are data processors acting on our instructions. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the safeguards in their processing terms (standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms).
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work — deleted within 90 days of the last reply.
- Client correspondence and project records — kept for the duration of the engagement, plus seven years to meet HMRC record-keeping requirements for VAT and corporation tax.
- You can ask us to delete data sooner — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Confirm what data we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete what we hold (the “right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict how we process it
- Receive a copy in a portable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
Email hello@glatterdigital.com with the request. We respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office — though we’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Cookies
We don’t set any cookies. The site has no login, no shopping cart, and no third-party scripts that drop cookies. The only third-party request your browser makes when visiting is for the Web3Forms submission endpoint — and only when you actually submit the contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date below. Material changes won’t apply retroactively to data we’ve already collected.
